Morning Notes

US Futures are slightly lower this morning along with European markets after speculation that the consensus of the global central banks is to put further stimulus measures on hold. Also affecting European markets is the Eurozone’s largest economy, Germany, reported the weakest number in nearly a year for July exports. Asian stocks closed mostly lower.

 

Technicals

SPY99

The SPY traded in a constricted range throughout yesterday’s session and closed slightly lower. Support will lie at the low of yesterday’s range at $218.15, followed by $217.86, $217.70, the upper range support pivot at $217.30, and then the 50 day moving average at $216.24. Resistance will lie at the high of yesterday’s range at $218.94, followed by $219.22, and all time highs at $219.60.
